Position: IT Support Technician
Location: Manchester Area
Salary: £20,000 to £25,000

Insight Media Internet Limited are offering a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Technician to play an instrumental role in their helpdesk team. We are looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills and prior experience in at least a 1st line IT support role or service desk environment.

• Ensure calls are logged accurately and promptly in line with existing call logging procedures.
• Play a key role in investigating, diagnosing and deploying solutions to support requests.
• Support software and hardware solutions deployed on Microsoft technologies such as Windows desktop and servers, MS SQL Server and IIS.
• Professionally respond to all queries via email or telephone.
• Be responsible for maintaining and evolving support documentation and procedures.
• Work with the helpdesk team to provide direction on future product developments.

• Experience in provision of 1st line support to users working in Microsoft Windows environments.
• Good knowledge of network hardware and technologies.
• Ability to undertake constructive IT troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Excellent telephone and written communication skills.
• Organised and methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.
• Full driving license.
