Insight Media Internet Limited is based in the North West of England, and has 10 years experience in developing both internet and software solutions. Our staff are focused and committed to offering the best possible service and assistance to customers both old and new.

As a North West based software house our main focus is the UK Market. We use internal staff for installation and support and are well place to respond to enquiries or development requests from our customer base throughout the UK. The profile and reputation of Insight Media through the sale and support of iCAM have grown dramatically over the last 8 years. We have a reputation for providing competitively priced quality products with excellent service levels and that we listen to, respond to and genuinely care about our clients.

iCAM systems was derived from a product originally developed 9 years ago called "Café Insight" for a top UK internet café chain. It was seeing first hand the problems of managing a Computer Centre full of students during a College open evening that inspired us to develop the software for new markets.

We started talking to local establishments in the North West in January 2001 with the aim of assessing the market and building a specification to develop the product to meet its requirements. The feedback we received from the people we talked to was positive but the demand for a solution came mainly from Public Libraries to meet their requirements as part of the implementation of the Peoples Network. Since 2001 over 70 authorities with over 1,000 Libraries have implemented iCAM Workstation Control software.

At the start of 2002 we started to investigate the requirements of the Higher Education and Further Education market and we took feedback from a dozen or more HE and FE organisations from around the UK. The feedback we received was excellent. So much so that most of these initial contacts subsequently purchased iCAM to manage their Learning Resource Centres.

Our product range continues to grow based on feedback from our customers and prospects alike. Over the last 5 years we have introduced a number of additional products including our Wireless Access Control (Hotspot) Solution which was first implemented in a customer's site in November 2004. We have continued to develop this solution to meet not only the requirements of our existing customers but also for new markets and sectors.
