We are delighted to announce that in February 2020 Insight Media achieved ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard.
We pride ourselves on providing quality solutions and services to the public library marketplace and the most important aspect of our business is looking after our valued customers.
It’s very important to keep existing customers, try and gain new accounts and maximise our business potential, and these are key drivers for Insight Media, along with maintaining a first-class service reputation and a customer service focused culture within our business.
Satisfying customers is our main priority; we have always had good working processes and procedures in place but we wanted to ensure that we are doing things right and as efficiently as possible.
Anna Philpot, our Office Administrator, joined Insight Media in 2015: “During my interview it was apparent that the company wanted to move towards some form of a quality management system and that I would be involved at some stage in trying to make this happen.
“Feedback from our customers on how we respond as an organisation and the way we manage projects has always been positive. However, as Tony Wilson our Sales and Marketing Manager often states ‘Whilst we always receive positive comments from our customers, we should always be looking at ways on how we can improve things’.
“My role as Office Administrator covers all the relevant service areas within our organisation, which helped me understand our strengths and weaknesses. We looked closely at the way we conducted our business with a view to trying to make improvements where possible that would help streamline our workflow practices and provide even more benefits to our customers.”
Having made a commitment in 2019 to go down the ISO 9001 route, our journey to ISO 9001 certification, a Quality Management System that has customer satisfaction built in, was realised in February 2020.
