We were delighted to hear last week that the BIC (Book Industry Communication) accreditation panel has awarded Insight Media the Silver Status BIC Technology Excellence in Libraries Award (TEiLA).
TEiLA is an accreditation scheme designed by BIC for libraries and their suppliers. The scheme encourages and rewards libraries and their suppliers for their adoption of best practice and industry standards and their investment in beneficial technologies.
Insight Media was recognised for our work in encouraging the use of technology in libraries and pushing new technologies such as LCF.
We work continuously to improve our products and services and develop new ones to help libraries deliver what their users need. Technology in libraries is becoming ever more important, and library visitors are demanding new and improved products such as wi-fi printing, self-service, and different payment options. To be recognised for our work in this area is a testament to all the hard work our team is doing.
