We are pleased to announce that Insight Media will be supporting and sponsoring the Libraries Connected Day Seminar virtual event on 2nd December 2020.
This annual conference, which usually takes place in the summer and would normally be across 2 days, has this year been rescheduled as a one-day on-line event due to the current Covid-19 situation and restrictions.
The Libraries Connected day seminar will bring together public library leaders to hear from a range of speakers, discussing how libraries can evidence and communicate their impact to secure support and funding.
The virtual event will provide Libraries Connected with the opportunity to widen their reach and they anticipate that this will attract around 300 on-line delegates.
Delegates will have the opportunity to see the latest developments from some of the leading library suppliers who have generously sponsored the event.
As a regular exhibitor at this event, we would normally be there in person and be manning our Insight Media stand. This usually gives us the opportunity to network with delegates, customers and prospects as well as catch up with other suppliers.
Libraries Connected have been working hard and have created a new format for this on-line event and, whilst being different and challenging, this is looking promising for delegates and exhibitors alike.
Insight Media, in the form of a Virtual Sponsor, will have a virtual on-line presence during the day and, assisted by technology, we hope to join you.

Three-minute ‘flash film’
We have prepared a pre-recorded presentation, and this will be shown during the main programme and shared on the LC website.
Insight Media Sponsor hosted breakout room at 11.45 – 12.15
The breakouts will take place in chat rooms away from the main event screen. Each room will hold up to 50 people and allow smaller groups of people to talk to each other. This provides the chance to have a chat to us, we would love to see you!
In addition there will be
- A link to suppliers' films and this will be emailed to delegates after the event.
- Our Insight Media company description and logo and this will be in the event brochure.
- A link to our company website and this will be emailed to delegates ahead of the event.
These events are always well attended, and you can be sure the agendas and key note speakers will provide some inspirational talks and presentations.
The topics covered at these conferences can often help in meeting some of the many challenges that libraries face in the current difficult economic climate.
Hopefully discussions at these events will help libraries strive forward with positive future outcomes.
